Where is this place?

History of 30 Tir Street

The name of the street changed from Qavam Saltaneh to 30 Tir street. Followed by the insurrection that took place on the 30th day of Tir month in the local calendar of 1331 which equals 1959AC. It’s also known as “Religion Street” because it hosts different holy places for different religions.
Store owners there try their best in keeping the atmosphere of 30 Tir street identical to 50s and 60s. This is one of the factors that makes it so special compared to other streets of Tehran.

National Museum of Iran

With over 60 years since the opening of this museum, it still is the largest and most wonderful place for history and archaeology lovers in the country. It’s an institution formed of two complexes;

2- The museum of Islamic art and archaeology which were opened in 1937 and 1972 respectively.

This place is known as the very first official synagogue of Iran.
