The Grand Bazaar is located in the south part of Tehran, near many important attractions such as Golestan Palace complex.

Traditionally, Tehran Bazaar was split into corridors, each devoted to different types of goods, including copper, carpets, paper, spices, and precious metals, as well as retailers selling all types of goods.

There are arches and ceilings richly decorated in varied shapes & different colours, the kind of Arabesque style rarely found outside Iran.
The location of Tehran Grand Bazaar is known to have been an area of trade for more than a thousand years, although the oldest walls and buildings are only around 400 years of age. Nobody seems to know exactly when the Grand Bazaar first opened.
Old Jameh Masque :
The mosque contains stunning mirror work in the interiors, making you feel you’re standing in a dome made of silver.
National Jewelry Museum :
which is open to public, is the collection of the most expensive jewels of the world, collected over centuries.

Almost all the stores open from 8 AM to 10 PM in Summer and Spring and 9 PM in Fall and Winter.
